This is to the kick ass bus driver of the 80 you made the bus ride more enjoyable for me on my way to work and the two other passengers on the bus. You made all those jokes and shit and they were really funny and all that stuff, all-in-all. WE NEED MORE BUS DRIVERS LIKE YOU!!!

Who built this street? Its a slightly different colour and texture than every other road surface in the city, but it's flawless. Whoever built this road should also build the rest of them. As opposed to the shit that needs to be patched and repaved every two years.

To the guy who was giving out fliers at the protest on spring garden, you were incrediabley nice when 3 teenagers show up wondering what was going on. instead of looking at us weirdly, and glaring; you gave us some handouts and told us to have a good day with a smile. i read the leaflette you gave out, keep going for such a good cause. (:

Remember me? The drunk girl who got in a fight with her boyfriend on Spring Garden? (How embarrassing.) Perhaps against my better judgement, I accepted a ride home from two perfect strangers who witnessed the fight. Thank you for the drive. I would have been hours downtown waiting for a cab, alone. I still have your card, but I don't want to email out of sheer embarrassment. Here's hoping you see this. Sorry I was so haggard, and thanks again.

On April 1st, around 7pm on Alderney Drive, you stopped your SUV to help us with an elderly lady who fell and was unable to get back up. You identified yourself as a nurse and you put off delivering your elderly mother to her home to help. You even lent us an old blanket to help keep her warm until paramedics arrived. You had to go but your help and bedside manner was very much appreciated. You left your blanket behind though, so I turned it in to Metro Transit lost & found (200 Ilsley, open 8am-4pm, M-F). Hopefully you see this message and get your blanket back. It was an older wool blanket, but it probably has some value to you.

Also a shout out to the passenger who helped me from start to finish in assisting this lady. I know it kept you from your g/f, but you (and she) didn't mind. Hope the rest of your night went OK. And to the supervisor who attended, thanks for getting my passengers onto other buses so they weren't too delayed.

And to the passengers who had no choice but to wait on that 58, thanks for your patience.

thanks for picking me up and dragging me through the last few months.

i'll never let nicky at the spartan steal you away...
