You are leaving for Toronto in just a couple of hours. Thank you so much for everything. You have brought me back to life and now I wish you the very best as you spread your wings and fly. You are a precious Angel and I love you Bubbies. —Bradbeboobly

You gave me the best ride of my life (my knees are still weak), then snuck out. You call almost a week later to apologize and tell me you might have given me an STI. I should hate you, but don't you dare lose my number, once you get Buddy healthy again I'd LOVE to see him, sneaking out optional. —ReboundGirl

To the guy who works at a tea store in the Halifax shopping center, thanks for the pity tea. The cup of tea I bought was gross and tasted like sea food, the cup you gave me to replace it was delicious. It was also really nice when you decided to push off your break, remembering me two days later, in order to serve me today. Things like this are a reminder of why I love the city. —I Like My Tea Scallop Free

It was Wednesday. You were beautiful. I was awkward. You nodded hi to me three times, and even though I'm sure you are straight, my normal extrovert social self was left staring back weak in the knees and without one word.
Thank you, beautiful quiet guy, for your smile and for demonstrating the awesome way one's guitar case can wear a winter coat on a beautiful spring day. Shoulda asked if you wanted company out in it. —Dude Using Hat as a Tea Cosy

To all the people on Spring Garden Rd. who I see asking for spare change when I walk down the street, I just want to say that I admire your dedication and endurance. After reading a book for one of my classes I now have a better understanding of why you might be in the situation you are in, even though I can’t fully understand because I’ve never been in it. I will no longer see you as just homeless people, but rather people affected by various social factors out of your control, especially the stigma about people in your situation created by what society views as ‘normal’ or socially acceptable. I also know that this stigma we as a society attach to you does not help when you try to better your lives by doing things like getting a job and that the structure of our society is set up in such a way that the benefits you receive might not be as much as you need to help you. While there is probably a wide variety of more complexities that have lead you to where you are, from now on I will keep the fact that there are these complexities in mind when I see you on Spring Garden. —Changed Perspective

You're absolutely amazingly awesome and every time I end up on your morning 10 you always brighten up my day! You say good morning to everyone who gets on the bus and when the crowd gets off at SMU you yell out to everyone to have a great day. You're the epitome of what Metro Transit should be and I thank you for trying to make everyone's morning a little bit better. It's hard getting up so early to trudge off to work and a bright smile and friendly remarks make it just a little bit better.
Also: I'd like to give shout outs to my two drivers of the 7:35 am 35 out of Lacewood every morning—always friendly smiles and sunny morning smalltalk. And you always wait for the runners because sometimes you're running a bit ahead to make sure they get on the bus and get to work!
You three put a smile on my face every morning and I wanted to say thanks! You really show that there are some great MT employees out there that are greatly under appreciated! —Pretty Kitty

You're leaving in quite a few months, and I know that gives us so much more time, but I hate the thought of moving on without you. Who will I cook breakfast for? —Mxoxo

Two baffling things occurred to me when you called me "Alice". One, cab drivers must read The Coast sometimes so, here goes nothing. Secondly, gosh you were handsome. Not too sweet, here's the honey; hope you come back in. —"Alice"

I will always have love for you. I can "feel it in my bones". I can't help but think of you when I hear it. I will never forget you. I miss you too. Take care. —Littleblondie
