You were like the breeze when you sat beside me on the bus. All I could do was compliment you; I had to do it quick! "I love your jacket." I said, grinning when you smiled and turned your blue, eyes on me and said, "Yeah, I get a lot of compliments on it." Thank god you didn't wink because I would have died. We chatted a bit, you and me so free and easy... I couldn't believe it. You are amazing. I wanted so bad to give you my number, anything! I even said that I wish I could've stayed on the bus to talk to you. Hopefully I will see you again. —You Won't Remember Me

I know there are a lot of loves in here about LTWWB/LTWWL posters, but those have inspired me to send out some of my own love to a certain poster. I cannot names names, but from your posts, I do feel as if we could be soul mates. More than once I have read a post written by you and swooned. Perhaps we were connected in a past life? You are witty, intelligent as heck and a I really believe you are a nice person with a mountain of good things to offer the world. I can tell you have been going through some rough times for a little while now and I just wanted to let you know that I think your thoughts and feelings of inadequacy are false and I want to urge you to stop listening to that little nagging voice inside your head telling you all these things. I would thoroughly enjoy getting together for a drink or some coffee to get to know you outside of this board, but sadly I don't think that will happen. Please know however that you are an amazing human being whether you think so or not. Don't let things get you down. You mean well and that is all that matters.
I would tell you how wonderful you are without disguising your identity but I am sure you wouldn't believe me or shrug it off. —Fellow Bitcher/Lover

You hit my motorbike, knocked it over, damaged it and left a note... which was tucked very well into the side of my bike. I did not see the note until today... almost a week after the incident. Originally I thought you did not know you hit my bike or that you drove away and I thought this was not very nice especially if you did the latter.
But I was wrong, you did know you hit it and you left a note apologizing with your contact info. Thank you very much. You are sorry you hit my hit bike and I am sorry I doubted you, the driver. —Ninja 250

This was one of those things I had been meaning to write a "Bitch" about for several years: The compete and total lack of bike racks on Quinpool Rd. But then today, I see a whole bunch of shiny new bike racks have been installed! Thank you, thank you, thank you, city of Halifax, for finally giving the many cyclists in this city somewhere to park our rides! —My Bike and Me

Runner in blue: You ran past me on Gottigen with a huge smile and what I thought was a high five. Wish I was quicker! I was enjoying my music, my evening walk in half sun with no jacket, and entirely loving life. You made me smile even more! —Slow on the Take

You are a spare Metro Transit driver. Every time that I see you drive by my house you just light up my life. I don't see you more than three times a year but when I do it is worth the wait. I think you know who you are. Sometimes you operate the nine and the seven. Well, the three month change around is May 22, so you never know. One can only hope! —Cool and Hot

A big thank you to the 2 great ladies of Lakeview Avenue in Sackville. They are out for a walk daily and never without a bag to pick up garbage along the way thrown and left by inconsiderate people. Thank you for keeping our neighborhood looking great! —A Resident

Girl with the heels at the cabin-inspired coffee shop, I can't stop thinking about you. You are the strangest looking thing. Your eyes are too big for your face and that smile is lopsided. Your hair is enormous and unruly. Your legs are fantastic. I watched you for an hour. You read the Globe and Mail, but only the arts section. Keep being a weirdo. In the meantime, I'll be haunting the chair near the moose. —Coffee Lover

I want everything that you want. You are everything that I hold dear and respect. I could not have imagined someone as perfect as you. You are actually (no... ACTUALLY) the most beautiful, attractive person I've ever seen and the way you look at me sometimes makes me want to marry you and grow old with you, treasuring every second with you. Wherever I am, I always wish you where there with me. I want to laugh, cry, fight with you and watch our kids grow up and hold your hand when you die (or I die, whatever, hope it would be me first though). I don't know if you know it or not but I would love you as much as anyone ever could and it wouldn't be shitty love, it would be perfect love. It can't happen, and I accept this... but god fucking damn. —Whew

The cops! Bless 'em. They have just taken us through the stormy waters of ridding ourselves of a noxious guttersnipe who took up residence in our house as an invited guest, then turned on us all and wouldn't move out. It's taken months and hundreds of wasted police time to deal with this person. The Halifax Police have been professional, kind and stalwar; there when we needed them with endless patience and have really been all-round heroes. Thanks guys. —Old Lady on Brunswick St
