This morning I got on the bus to go to work, not awake yet, and a wee bit sad as my attempt at a homemade iced coffee had failed miserably minutes prior to catching the bus. The bus driver, of the 80 or 81, well let me just say that you rock your job. Seriously, you were so cheerful and it was that sincere kinda happy not the forced customer service type! You were the morning perk I needed, so thank you sir! Keep on smilin! —Sleepyhead in Sunglasses

I looked at you today when things happened and wanted so badly to let it just be. I cried...you wondered what it was about and it's this: I see you and think of you as a father of my children, my protecter, someone who makes me feel like no other man has ever made me, but then I realize the reality. We are both in situations that would hurt people so much I don't know if I ever could and if we went through that would my horrible flip side personality ever hurt you?
I don't want to hurt you. I love you but I seem incapable of ever loving without hurting the person.
I don't want to do that to you...things will take their course. I just have no idea what that course will be right now. —Your Pussy

Hey Canada Post, I work the early morning shift at a very early morning/late night coffee establishment in the Young Street area, and having your employees come in always makes my day. They are always very kind, smiles abound, and willing to chat a little. Please always keep the salt 'n' pepper gentleman who orders his whole grain blueberry muffin around. He's the sweetest guy and a staff favourite.
But this is specifically for the redhead lady with the sunglasses, you have become the best part of my day. I have been in the habit of hiding a vanilla yogurt every day for you so that we never run out before you come in, but I haven't seen you since I rushed out back and made you one personally. I think you're fascinating and beautiful and I smile a lot whenever you come in. Come back please!
And everyone else, I serve you your coffee every day with a smile and my best positivity. When you're friendly back, it makes my day worth way more than your 27 cent tips ever could. I know it's hard some mornings, but just try, okay? Thanks! —Just a Full-Time Workin' Girl Livin' in a Cutthroat Coffee World

To the girl I see occasionally running the same route as me in the north end: you are cute. as. hell. We exchanged smiles as we ran past each other earlier tonight and you almost made me trip over myself. You are more than welcome to stop me in my tracks the next time our paths cross---even if it's raining. —Blue Bandana Boy

Each night, I walk my dogs in an area that would be too easy for someone to hide, but it's the only choice I have. Sometimes I had noticed an elderly man looking at me through a window across the street. A few days ago, you were sitting on your front porch. I was a little suspicious, but then you said that you'd watched me for years to make sure I'd be okay, not taking your eyes off me until I was home safe. It brought tears to my eyes to know that there are people like you in this world. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for being so kind and wonderful. It makes my heart sing a little song. —Single Doggy Girl

We shared an all-too-brief moment this past weekend at the Evolve Festival---as I stepped up to the counter, I was nearly floored by your wavy blond hair, azure eyes and altogether perhaps the softest features I've ever seen on a person. Between the exchange of demure smiles and the back-and-forth glances thereafter, I knew I had to break the ice somehow... Alas, you were clearly busy holding down the hive, so I decided to bide my time and return later. Sadly, that was the last I saw of you. I hope that at the very least I can return to find you there next summer---and if so, when I ask for a cup of tea, I'll be asking for your name along with it. I have a feeling it'll be well worth the wait. —Cup of Rock Steady, Please

I've seen you at a few of my shows, and you're always with your friend, and I have to say you are the SEXIEST woman I've ever seen. Next time you're at a show, please say hi. Or If I get the courage, I will say hi to you. —That Guy On Drums

It was 1970. You were my first and only REAL love. Yes, I am married now and so are you. I was only 17 then and very jealous and immature. I wish that I did not treat you so immaturely. I would get mad when you watched Mash. Now I feel like a fool when I see the re-runs on today. I was jealous over Hot-lips Hoolohan. Deep down in my heart after all these years I still have warm feelings for you. If I could start my life over again I would treat you like a king. I would do everything for you. I am crying as I write this because I messed things up back then. I wanted ever so badly to have been your wife. I am married now but it is not the same. You had the spark in your eyes when I looked at you. I wonder what you look like now. I bet you still have your great sense of humour. You were my first love who I lost my virginity with. I have never felt that intercourse feeling with anybody else. It was SOO special. You know I still can remember that hot night in late August of 1970 when I saw a man's love making object for the very first time. I hope that if you read this, I hope you know who I am. Bye my love and I hope that I will meet you again before I die. —Still Feeling You

You are my one, and you always will be. I know you need your time and space in order to work some things out, and I know I do too. However, I will always wait for you, because without you who would I discuss the latest and greatest horror films (fan cam?!), books, my nursey day, listen to black metal and make that passionate love with? For what it's worth, the egg is safe with me. I love you, always. P.S. You DON'T look like Galifianakis, and people (be they fresh and/or direct or not) need to stop saying that shit. —Love Sick Metal Chick
