Every time you come back from out west, I am reminded just how sexy you are! Your curves are in all the right places, your eyes catch me looking. You should quit your job and move back here and be my teacher! —Maybe someday

I wasn't born yesterday, or the day before. Or the day before that. We had an affair. Yes. And I'd say the only thing you really know for sure about an affair is when it started. You say you are confused by my actions. Don’t be. You know why. I see it in your eyes and your body language. You were playing with me and I called you on it. You meant something to me and you played with my desire and I called you on it. I'm not another toy and you are seeing that now. So don't be confused. Be sorry. I was.... —Almost perfect

Before much more time goes by, I want to express my deepest thanks and regards to the many people who came to my Dad's “rescue” on Monday when he experienced a fainting spell and fell down on the pavement in front of the shopping center in Clayton Park. Thank you to the cab driver who helped Dad sit up and the off-duty nurse who rushed up and with her son pitched in. Special thanks goes to the front store manager who offered to help with my Mom—who has dementia—and treated her with utmost respect. All your assistance was very appreciated on such a crazy day! Dad broke his arm and has a bump on his head but is home and doing fine. Sending good wishes and karma to you all! —Grateful Daughter

I just want to say I'm so, so sorry to the woman at the south end intersection. I know I pulled out on my bike too fast before stopping. I was in a big rush and it startled me so much I didn't apologize when you stopped. BIKE SAFETY IS IMPORTANT FOLKS! Learn from my mistakes. —Cyclist in a rush

To the pretty girl on the ferry Saturday with long red hair: I meant it when I said you were totally beautiful. Saw you again yesterday headed into the Loose Cannon around six-ish. Twice in three days—coincidence or fate? —Hopeless LGBT Romantic

To the striking blonde who plays baseball with two small boys at Wickwire Field: you bring so much joy into this world and I wonder if you even know it. From your beaming, gap-toothed smile and your kind, generous movements to your moments of pure, unadulterated happiness; you truly are one in a million. Your presence in this coastal paradise is a real treat for those who surround you and love you. And, you rock the hell out of your goose sweater! —An admirer and fellow baseball enthusiast

You are not even in this city; you came; you saw; and you conquered the shit out of me.

We spoke for over three years, before I ever saw your face; and it was the best birthday present ever.

You have left on your journey; and I am here still; life is the same as it was before the seemingly hallucinatory 5 days we spent together... I paint, and fish, and do the activities that keep me occupied and content.

But I am different from this experience, you have opened my eyes to an awareness of an awareness; that I have always had, but was never aware of having.

Now I must maintain this clarity, and not let anyone disturb it.

You brought to my attention my lack of self love; and it shifted mountainous bricks and shapes inside of me; with only a feather lite comment; and now I think and see differently about that.

I wish all women were as classy and intelligent as you; but then you wouldn't be you; and you'd just be the rest of them; then I wouldn't be me either, in the grand fractal scheme of things.

I'm learning French, just in case you do decide to move to Montreal like we talked about.

I miss your taste, I miss your scent, I miss your touch, I miss your presence and your voice.

Your shower towel will never be washed. —Drifting In The Void

I know right now we can't be a thing, but I will be patient. I will support you in ways you don't see, I will love you from a distance, and I will do anything I can to support you and your vision. Since last November I've been around, hanging out in the background, but not telling you how I feel is driving me crazy. I've tried many times to shake this off, but for some reason I find the more I hide my feelings from you the more I fall for you. I love your passion for what you do, and how much you give yourself to the community. Keep being amazing. —patiently waiting to tell you
