Before there was you, I slept much better because I didn't buy nearly as much coffee. Before there was you, I rarely had a sore neck because I wasn't stretching it daily to catch even a glimpse of your unbelievable beauty! Before there was you, I wasn't as much filled with coffee as I am now with passion, both fueling my energies & fantasies about what could be...if only you would see me...like I see you...But only to see you, is far better than the thought of never seeing you again.

Much love to the under-appreciated barista who professionally handled the smug douche with the wrong change calling you “Sweetie.” I’m sure you get that all too often in a day. I would have thrown his tea the jerk’s face, but you were a class act. Sorry you have to put up with that bologna.

I see you almost every weekend and besides ordering some lunch, I have yet to find the nerve to say anything along the lines of "hi". I think you're super cute and for reasons I can't explain you make me hella nervous. You told me I had a cool t-shirt once and I've been over-thinking it ever since. Say hi sometime!

This is a love and a bit of a bitch. I wish you'd have taken a bit more interest, but as most people online dating, we tend to have the attention span of goldfish. I think we have a lot in common. I think you're great and I could have as-you-wish’d the hell out of you after awhile I think. Who knows now? Good luck you're adorable.

Thank you to the people on Morris Street who have their teddy bears set up in the window with Monopoly money in their paws. Seeing them playing Monopoly on my way to work and then on my way home makes my day so much better. I'm temporarily stuck at a job I hate, but they make me smile on the walk to and from, so thank you!

It was your birthday. I saw you step up to sing at an open mic on Argyle Street on Tuesday. When you started singing, you silenced the room full of rowdies and drunk musicians. Your soft voice and presence floored me and everyone else in the room.
I don't know if you sing professionally, but you made a room full of fans that night and kicked off at least one crush.

I think you are great. I sometimes make excuses to come talk to you since we have silly amounts of chemistry. I think you are a perfect mix of gorgeous, adorable and unique. Circumstances won't allow anything more than friendship, but maybe someday that could change, for now I am content with our little work 'thing'.

The other day one of those people who walk around handing out pamphlets about God came into my church and handed me one of his conversion cards. Naturally, I was incredibly insulted and angry that someone would come into my place of worship and try to actively convert me, and I gave him a piece of my mind. I figured that was the end of it, but then the next day he came in again and apologized and explained himself and said that I was right to feel disrespected for it. I appreciated that apology so much. Religion is supposed to be about universal tolerance, not active evangelizing, and I'm very happy that he came through and understood that. Thank you for taking the time to come in and apologize and thank you for understanding what the point of religion really is.

Its great to see the city planting interesting trees around the city instead of the usual elms which are susceptible to disease and are not all that great looking. Recently I have seen Ginkgo Biboas, paperbark maples, black robe locusts(stunning tree I had never seen before)birches and several other unique varieties. I hope the city continues to beautify the streetscape by planting these kinds of ornamental trees as it makes for a more interesting landscape.
