Thank you for stealing my possessions while I was in the process of loading my moving van. You are a greasy human. —You Make Me Sick

Contrary to your believe people know you are the opposite of what you portray to be. Do you ever wonder what justifies your behaviour and if there is anything wrong with deceiving your partner. Are you at all aware that you are conning yourself in thinking your possessions and looks make you a valuable partner? Attributes and things may get you the attention, however you conduct the way you walk through life, the footprint you leave behind is who you are. You should bother to examine your motivating factors for the lies you think you rely on, those lies indicate you are aware what you are trying to conceal is unacceptable and deserve to be put in question, if you think you are entitled to act a certain way why not conceal what you think you are entitled to. Have you ever considered that entitlement is a justification you come up with to do what you want, then why do you feel the need to conceal or lie about it . Maybe you are conning yourself into the believe that you are entitled to do what your gut tells you is wrong and hence you see the need to lie about it to conceal your unacceptable behaviour. If you were to stop the behaviour deemed wrong by your standards, you won’t have a reason to lie OR keep doing what you want but stop pretending you are better then what you are. For as long as you conceal your actions in lies, you camouflage who you are, depriving your love interest of an informed choice to take you as you are to or move on. Does it feel right to you being cared about for without caring about someone. You determine the depth of relationship you can have. So while you think your lies hide your true nature, those speak volumes about who you are once found out, therefore the thing you are most concerned about peoples opinion is the exact opposite of what you are trying to achieve with your lies. You are known as a selfish, self absorbed user and predator who uses lies and deceit to conquer a woman’s heart. —Done with you

My late starting mornings aside, my first thing check of the news today revealed yet another depressing story, our money is dropping in value. Great. Another knife into the side of struggling Canadians. My first thought is to run to the bank and pull all my savings, as little or none as that may be at the moment, and hide it in the mattress. But because of todays technology, my bills come direct deposit out of my account. So, like many other Canadians, I am over the financial barrel. I have no choice but to allow my poor few hundred dollar savings be in control of the people who have sickening amounts of money. A 10,000 loss to someone who has trillions doesn't mean shit. But to me? 10,000 would change my life forever from the downward struggle that I've been fighting, with millions of other Canadians, just to get by. Money has been a deciding factor in who controls the system. I've never had money, or powerful friends, so I am destined to dream and drudge. Dream of success, even just to be able to pay my bills doing something I love, art, but drudge to a low, shit paying job designed to keep me right there. Making piss ass wages so some dick with a million in the bank sucks bail-out money from my taxes. Money fucked up the whole world and let too many idiots control the system. We can change that but, they gave us some shiny new devices to distract us in the 90s, meanwhile the powers that control the wealth get away with stealing our future more and more everyday. Goddamned swine. —Maybe not

I am sure I'm opening myself up for some harsh comments here but whatever...I haven't tried online dating but was thinking about it. I've heard a lot of horror stories from both men and women so I am reluctant to sign up. In fact, I'd really rather not. I wouldn't ask someone out at work because that's inappropriate but I don't go downtown. If I had to rate myself with a number I would probably give myself somewhere between a 6 and a 7, closer to 7 I guess. I'm sometimes funny, pretty smart, a nice person...so how do I meet someone? I make enough money but am not rich, I don't own a car or a house. But I feel like there is more to me than that, at least I hope some women still care about other things? I'm not looking for a super model or a perfect person. This isn't really a bitch, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions? There are a lot of opinions shared on this forum, someone has to know some trick I've missed haha. How do people meet offline these days? Friends recommend joining a club but I feel like joining a club to meet someone to date is insincere...and similar to asking someone out at work. What do people even do? I'm out of the loop. —Feeling lonely and getting kinda bummed out :(

Simply put, Government employees are paid too much. Perhaps not in comparison to other government employees but to the average Nova Scotian taxpayer, it's an astounding amount of difference. Especially when some of the individuals within our government decide what to do with our taxes. The film tax credit, so much has been said but I don't feel anyone paid any attention, Basically McNeil took millions from Joe the small time business owner and gave it to the Ferry debacle. Millions of Nova Scotia dollars sent to the Untied States company to run the Ferry system. Not to mention the sneaky little buy-outs they pull off for their buddys with factories in the Maritimes desperately in need of mindless hourly employees, forced to make enough to "get by." I'm sure when a government employee is pulling in over 200 000 dollars a year they are thinking about the Nova Scotians who have to worry every single waking hour of their day, where am I going to get the money for rent, food, my utility bills. Could this individual say, get by on 100 000 a year? My god, half of Nova Scotians will never see that kind of money in a lifetime. I'm not a fan of politicians, I take the Thompson position at them being swine. There are a few who want to make a difference but the whole system is concreted in it's ways, I fear the changes we need will never come. It is the system. The big nasty machine of capitalism.Taking advantage of the less fortunate to better your position in the world. I have delusions of grandure, would like to afford nice things, but I'm realistic, I would like to pay my bills doing something I enjoy, writing, art, whatever, but with the system the way it is, artists and creative people are being phased out. It is such a struggle to be an artist in Canada. And now we've got to hear about cutting budgets to art programs, when video lottery rakes in billions, where's that report? The government pisses away money, and when everyone is looking around saying where have all our young people gone? somewhere it's possible to make a career besides taking up a trade that's available. I maybe a child of the early 70s, grew up studying the counter culture of the 1960s, but I see none of the lessons taught from that time learned. Share, share the wealth, share the opportunity, for fucks sake share the province with the rest of us. —Maybe not

Why am I getting screwed on the deposit I pay on recyclable bottles (soft drink, liquor, etc) when I return them for my refund? I should have the choice to use my refundable deposit to contribute to any programs etcetera, or ITS A TAX. National companies who can access your information from another province, but cant take a CASH PAYMENT on the account they access-even thought there are cash registers in the store and cash says right on it: Legal tender. WTF!! —Underpaid, overtaxed, underinformed & toobroke to be fed up

This bitch is about driving from Robie street to Young street, sure enough, you end up behind a vehicle turning left into Tim Horton's. I gotto ask, where did these drivers come from? If they came from Robie street (it don't matter which direction) it is way more easier to turn off Robie directly onto an access lane near the ESSO. If you are coming from Young street, you would be better off taking to same access lane. —Just Saying

I stopped to turn in to a parking lot. Another vehicle was coming out. You were sufficiently annoyed that you had to blow your horn, pull up beside me and COMPLETELY lose your shit! Really? Threats of physical violence, screaming and swearing, you two are the embodiment of the red neck stereotype. A witness suggested that your extreme over reaction was a reflection of what a bad day/life you were having. I suspect you're just a couple of middle aged, entitled, arseholes. Hope your day got better after you vented your road rage! —BVW

Holy Crap! Does anyone in this province know how to produce, manufacture, or mine anything anymore? It is amazing how many of you actually make a living in some obscure artsy fartsy field or in an academic venue that have no value except academic value. News flash! This is a have not province. If you want to do something meaningful with your life, then figure out a way to bring more money into this province through your blood, sweat, and tears. Stop living off the tax payer teat, and start producing. Start figuring out what this world really needs. Learn, produce, export, sell. Telling your children to get a good government job is most certainly good advice in this province, but it is unsustainable. This province needs GDP, it needs to export, and drawing revenue for outside the province. We need to innovate, not welfare create. We need to grow the economy, not bleed it to death with umpteen dozen different government and medical departments that don't actually contribute to the economy. —Just Saying

You're not the only gourmet food shop in town, but even if you were, it wouldn't give your staff carte blanche to be so rude to the ones I love. You're turning your nose up at people who appreciate your stuff, people who want to try things and learn more about food. That's not cool. —Love snacks, hate snobbery
