During a hot sexting session, "I wanna slither my tongue around you like a sssssnake" totally did not work. Why did it get Jerry so hot and bothered. I got no response! Fuck@! —Co-Stanza!

A man is violently robbed and assaulted on August 28 off of Waverly Rd. and a certain local reporter posts several photographs of the victim's home on social media. I asked the reporter if she thought the man had been through enough, without having photos of his home posted on the internet. They told me they post pictures of any crime scene. How would you feel if that were you or your loved one? Yes, it's a crime scene but it's also the home of the innocent person that was violently robbed an assaulted. Why add even more trauma and suffering to them? I hate the world we live in. —Terrible world, terrible humans

Look, I've bummed my share of smokes. I used to give out one or two. But despite the public all thinking I'm a fat public servant, I can't afford it anymore. I don't mind someone asking, but if I say no, don't ask for the butt. It's disgusting. I'm on a smoke break and won't get another for a few hours, so I'm smoking it. And quite frankly I don't want to hang out with you on one of my only two 15 minute breaks while you wait for it. And what's with the rude responses when I say no? One person actually responded "I hope you choke on that butt." You know what? If someone's gonna choke on it, it's me, because I bought it. The tax hike last year alone means I balanced your fucking provincial budget for you. That's enough! —Smokers balanced the budget, not Stephen McNeil

I live in a small community. It has a terrific general/convenience store there. Only one thing spoils the experience of going there. It's the middle-aged, tiny lady with the worst attitude a human being can harbour serving the public. If she's not throwing your stuff or money at you, she sneers at any cheerful 'good morning' that flies her way. It's so obvious she hates what she does, it reflects in her every word & gesture. Several of my neighbours say the same thing about this rude little troll. Complaining to the owner seems like the easy way but then I think that perhaps I'm depriving someone of a job they really need. And, since it's a small community, who knows what she could do if she finds out who got her fired? Any suggestions for disarming someone so hostile? —Tired of Nasty People

To the girl who screamed at her boyfriend for 3 hours straight in the middle of woods in the middle of the night on Layes Lake Road...I think you have really bad anger and drinking issues! To her boyfriend...grow some balls! How did you just let her scream at you for that long?? I felt really bad for your friend who was obviously third wheel and had to deal with that! It was my son's first time going camping and we decided to go somewhere peaceful, not a campground and you ruined it with your nonsense! If my son wasn't there I wouldnt have to make this bitch because you would of definitely met me! —IHYDHA (I Hope You Dumped Her Ass)

Okay Halifax, before I get slammed for this, just let me tell you first... I believe in sharing the road with cyclists as much as anyone out there, I really do....BUT!!!...it's not just the people driving cars who need to be responsible motorists. I don't know how many times I've witnessed cyclists up on the sidewalks, nearly running pedestrians (including me) down, then careening back onto the street without so much as a sideways glance, swerving between cars, not waiting for a car to complete a right hand turn in progress before proceeding past the car, etc. I also don't think it's fair or just that cyclists sharing the road are not licensed and insured. I've had damage done to my vehicle and have had no way to seek compensation because telling the police, "...some guy on a red mountain bike wearing a blue jacket dented my car when he bumped into it while texting and then just took off..." just doesn't cut it. I was stuck with a huge repair bill through no fault of my own. Bicycles should have license plates and the people riding them should have insurance, just like other vehicles if they want to share the road. —Long time former cyclist

Perhaps you paid in advance, but I doubt it. Sitting enjoying coffee at the Halifax Forum Farmers Market, I (an older black woman) watched you (a younger white woman) grab a bunch of carrots from a table staffed by Elmridge Farm, stuff it into your Sobeys bag and keep walking. Yes, Sobeys, recently cold-busted for its racial profiling of black people! I immediately got up and followed you to the Noggins Farm line. I pondered confronting you. But on the off chance you had paid for the carrots, I decided to...let the cosmic forces deal with it.  And people wonder why black folk are "so angry" all the time. —The Content of Our Character

Recently, there has been a lot of hate towards a convicted animal abuser which include threats of violence and death. It's not cool. Especially when most of you eat, wear and use products that are tested on animals. You should look at the animals you pay to kill before you threaten someone else's. Be the change you want to see in the world. Uttering threats is childish. Grow up. —That Angry Vegan Bitch

Over the last couple years a disturbing trend has unfurled of rents skyrocketing. What the fuck is this? I can't afford this shit; and it has gotten so out of hand I am taking the time to learn how to build a ship for the ocean; because that is cheaper than paying $600+ for a shit-hole apartment that I could have gotten for $450 five years ago! Not to mention utilities!!! Fuck man; what city do you people think you are renting to? Our population is diving, there is no money here, the rich run off credit; and rent just keeps going up and up...Don't even get me started about food prices... —Lunatic Fringe

You took money from my roommate and I as an 'application' fee for your apartment. When I asked for it back you denied me and told me I was an ignorant fuck. You refuse to let me serve you hearing papers. I have a mental illness and I am on welfare. I need that money more than you. Thanks for denying me food and medication for the next month you shit head. —You Make Me Sick
