Having a great time. We're gonna handle the coming year just as badass as the last one. Look forward to more two wheeled trips in the summer sun. Lets not crash again hmm? Keep your chin up, things are great! - 13322, Sea to Sea to Sea

Show me how much you need me back in your life. Make a real effort and not just anonymous words. - Not Sure of Anything

I deleted your number from my phone the moment you said "you just wanted to be left alone." I got up and walked away because I knew that line all too well. It's the one I used on guys whom I was not quite into...I didn't want to be a little puppy at your feet begging for a bone, only to have you throw it to someone else. I wish I didn't walk away, but rather had been patient with you. I see you at work and all I want to do is the WWF smack down hands so you will smile. I think you're incredible, I just wish you thought the same of me. Wishing you would text me so I could have your number, again. I day dream about kissing you in front of all of the haters at work...because honestly, i'd rather your affection than any of theirs. - "Garbage Babies"

Dear Coast, I moved to Calgary a few months ago and still read you every week. You were a part of my life in Hali and you continue to be a part of my life in Calgary. It goes to show that good things exist out of time and space... Thanks. - East Coast Girl Out West

Oh... my... GOD, guy with the red and white jacket who came into the gas station last night... I spotted you before you came in, turned to my coworker and squeaked. Then you walked in and I broke out into nerves like whoa. I'm surprised I managed to serve you at all, but thank you dear, for making my week. - Gas Station Queen

Dear fellow hipster and cash clerk, while I was bagging my ridiculous amount of dairy products and admiring your half-shaved head, your mouth twisted as though you were going to say something ironic. Part of me wishes you had said it but the rest of me knows it wouldn't have been as good if I had heard it. - Red Glasses

Dear employee of a fairly ubiquitous pizza chain - I support artistic expression as much as the next person, and so I was delighted to receive a pizza that eschewed traditional triangular slices. I opened the box to find 19 portions, a dizzying combination of rectangles and ambiguous shapes of varying sizes. I'm intrigued - were you trying to recreate the CBC logo? Or were you trying out a new pizza cutter and went a bit overboard? Whatever your intentions, I can now eat 7 slices of pizza without getting full. - DQ

To turning around and kissing you that night after the Christmas party. Had the company been different I would have. I now figure I still should have. Be prepared for anything...it is coming. - I Came So Close

Visiting from the prairies, this week in Halifax will be one I remember fondly and can't wait to repeat. Sending love and appreciation to my amazing Haligonian boss (I want to be just like you when I grow up!), his hilarious partner, and their patient, friendly, welcoming clientele. Thank you to all the tour guides and locals who recommended fun things to do and see. And thank you to the chef at that local pub for the amazing lobster mac and cheese (and to The Coast for "suggesting" the place)! Can't wait to come back to Halifax! - First Time Out East

Your place had character, I'd like to party sometime and see some more art in a less professional setting. —James
