At lunch time on Friday, May 4, I was crossing Birmingham St (close to Spring Garden), wearing a bright orange hat and red raincoat. To my surprise, a truck decided to back up half way the length of the street to find a parking spot and hit me from behind. I had no idea what was going on, but you screamed at the driver to stop. Thank you soooo much for that! I was too shell-shocked to say thank you. Thank you, thank you! The incident could have been a lot worse. —Shell-Shocked Pedestrian

To the cute guy at the library who seems to know (or thinks he knows) who I am, I unfortunately will not be working there during the summer. However, I will certainly be spending time there working another job near the warmth of the fireplace. You might find me wearing my black/red beats by dre. headphones. Don't be shy to ask for my help in finding a book. —Hoping to See You This Summer

I totally feel like I'm falling for you. I enjoy our time together but I can never tell you the truth about my feelings for you. If I did I know I would never meet with you again. I also know that I am not being honest with myself. —Ozzy

I see you performing all the time. You're always so sweet and happy on stage, but when I walk by you on the commons you are always head down, never smiling. You are so adorable and funny, I wish I had the courage to make you laugh like you've made me. —Would Love to Laugh With You

We were nearly through the worst of our situation, so close to being reunited. Yet it never felt further and whatever happened, whatever fall we had, one or both us couldn't get up and we called it quits. My love for you is unconditional and I hope you find your way. You told me such beautiful dreams and I hope they become reality for you. I'm sorry I wasn't ready settle. Please don't let anyone tell you how to live your life, do what feels true to you. —A Little Bird

To the coolest dude ever who was on my bus today, quietly sitting there observing our asshole bus driver be a jerk to me, my wife, and everyone who entered that bus as if we were trespassing on his territory and wasting his time. When you went to get off the bus, you turned and with a big smile and kind voice you asked the bus driver why he was so grumpy. He grunted, and you kindly reminded him of all the people who had said good morning and tried to greet him with kindness, and how he had rejected it all. You told him to have a good day anyways, and left. He may have been all the grumpier, but I was uplifted to hear your words. I also got to take them to heart, because I had just lost $3000 to a stupid car problem, and feeling bummed. Thanks for reminding me that there's no gain in being a downer. —Happier on the Bus

Everyday I open my eyes and am reminded instantly by your beautiful face, amazing smile, gorgeous eyes, sexy body, awesome sense of humour and personality that I am the luckiest man in the world. I now have seven amazing children and the "PERFECT" woman in the world to share the rest of my life with. I thought I had been in love before but looking back at what I had and what I have now don't come close in comparison. Thank you for showing me that love really does exist and for loving me the way you do. —Faithfully, Forever Yours

To the tall, handsome stranger who made my day at the Mooseheads game on Sunday... Thank you for seeing the discomfort of several rows of people & stepping in to do something about it. Most people would have looked the other way, but you took charge of the situation & handled it with ease. I now have an enormous crush on you & would like to point out that the 2 guys I was sitting with were my brother & a friend. Hoping the universe lets our paths cross again. And, if not, we'll always have game 6... —Smitten Hockey Fan
