...holy hannah! I saw you on the 7 last night with your blue arc'teryx pack and your nondescript hair colour and I just want to say that you are, hands down, the best looking guy I've seen in HRM since I moved here. You should seriously take a second and thank your parents for their genetic artistry. —Connoisseuse

I hate to be cheesy, but this was one moment I believed in love at first sight. You made work so much better each day, I would love forward to seeing your smile and making me laugh. When we got together that time, I wished it would have lasted forever. I know you'll never be mine and I'll never be yours, so we'll leave it that. I'm so sorry for what happened on New Year's Eve. I know I fucked up and you probably think less of me but I want you to remain dearly to my heart. xoxo —TNI

We'll have lots of time, and get to spend the rest of them together. I have been so lucky to have been loved by you! We're going to have a lot of fun. —Handsome Man

Wow! You make my heart flutter and my cheeks all warm. I saw you tonight at the grocery store and I wish I knew your name and had the courage to say a few words to you. I still think that you are a familiar song I could play over and over again. Yet no matter how often I heard the song, I would still marvel in the new sounds I would hear. I used to see you all the time on campus and I’m kicking myself for not asking you out for a tea when I had the opportunity. Now I get rare glimpses of you every few months…next time I see you I am going to more then smile and blush. —Red Hair, Red Cheeks

The night I called you, it was to tell you that I think I fell in love with you that very first night. I was so nervous that I actually wrote down what I wanted to say, but I chickened out. Looking back, I know it was for the best, because the timing was all wrong. We both had other issues that needed to be put to rest & a lot of growing up to do. I just want you to know that even though a lot of time has passed, I never stopped loving you. Despite the changes in my life, there is never a day that goes by when you don't cross my mind. Other people, misunderstandings & embarrassment kept us apart, but now, if you would meet me half way, I promise you I would find the words. —Wordsworth

To the two lovely generous ladies that frequent a restaurant on Kempt Rd who frequently, randomly and anonymously treat people to lunch. You two are the sweetest and most generous we have seen. You are appreciated! —Suzie, Stacey and Carolyn

Dear Forbidden Fruit, each day I get to walk by you and see your incandescent smile, which draws me in. As you talk to me, I can’t help but to gaze in to those sparkling blue eyes, and wonder what it would be like to hold your hand for a little while… To have you look at me, and want me, the way that I do you. I daydream about one day, becoming your wife, to wake up next to you every morning, thinking; I am the luckiest girl in the world. Only – You are married. —Daydreamer

Every since the day I met you on the shuttle bus to Cape Breton during Christmas and I couldn't stop thinking of you. Your big brown eyes makes me like putty in the palm of your hands. The more I learn about you, the more I want to know. We have only ever met once after the travel for coffee and lunch but the next time I see you can't come fast enough. Your optimism inspires me, your elegance intrigues me. I hope you understand how much I appreciate your company because you're definitely someone special. Yours truly —Newfie Boy

To the guy from north end Halifax who kindly offered his boogie board to our kids on his last day in Costa Rica... Thanks! Our kids had a blast in the big waves. Then on our last day in Costa Rica we gave it to a woman selling fruit on the side of the road in Playa Hermosa. One of her 3 kids was helping her pack up for the day; his eyes (and smile) grew as wide as the pineapples he was selling when he took possession of his new boogie board. —Neigbouring Swimmers at Manuel Antonio
