I hate to be cheesy, but this was one moment I believed in love at first sight. You made work so much better each day, I would love forward to seeing your smile and making me laugh. The night I called you, it was to tell you that I think I fell in love with you that very first night. I was so nervous that I actually wrote down what I wanted to say, but I chickened out. Looking back, I know it was for the best, because the timing was all wrong. We both had other issues that needed to be put to rest & a lot of growing up to do. I just want you to know that even though a lot of time has passed, I never stopped loving you. Despite the changes in my life, there is never a day that goes by when you don't cross my mind. Every since the day I met you on the shuttle bus to Cape Breton during Christmas and I couldn't stop thinking of you. Your big brown eyes makes me like putty in the palm of your hands. The more I learn about you, the more I want to know.

To the guy from north end Halifax who kindly offered his boogie board to our kids on his last day in Costa Rica... Thanks! Our kids had a blast in the big waves. Then on our last day in Costa Rica we gave it to a woman selling fruit on the side of the road in Playa Hermosa. One of her 3 kids was helping her pack up for the day; his eyes (and smile) grew as wide as the pineapples he was selling when he took possession of his new boogie board. —Neigbouring Swimmers at Manuel Antonio
