To the amazing blonde dancer in the red jumpsuit: your skill and independence on the dance floor was fantastic, unparalleled and inspiring entertainment for me and my people on New Year's Eve. Thank you for making the bar's last night a memorable one! —The Wannabe Brunette

A big thank you to the Mellotones for such a fantastic, groovy, generous performance on New Year's Eve! My friend and I left our night open to move where the vibe took us, and we were so grateful that we landed in the heart of such a positive atmosphere where we could dance the year away. What better way to spend the last night of the year than to jam under a warm January sky to the crisp horns, sly strings, cool percussion, and smooth vocals of the Mellotones? It was perfect. Thank you for a most memorable New Year's Eve! Cheers to Halifax for a happy, healthy, love- and adventure-filled 2012! —Jen and Yase

Every Saturday I can, I will try and stop for a baked treat at the Dartmouth Farmers' market. Not only are the eats great at your table but your handsome, smiling face makes it worthwhile grabbing that turnover before heading to the gym... Keep smiling and being you... and great turnovers! —Extra Hour of Cardio

I know I seldom live on Planet Earth anymore, spending more time with my head in the clouds or staring at the sun. This Love is for everyone who stops to check on me every now and then, taking the time to ask honestly how the view is, instead of trudging along staring at their feet. I've got a big heart for the ones who car about it, and it'll keep skipping beats when your faces poke through the clouds. So go out and drop some love off to the ones who are shut in, or shut out! —Reserved Contemplation

I admit I haven't tried that hard, but in the couple months I've lived in Halifax, I still haven't found a nice D&D group to settle in with. Wearing my D20 ring out & about has gotten a couple cute questions, but nothing more promising than that. Ok, sometimes I'll need to be reminded what happened in the last session, and I might ask you why you're talking like that, but I promise I'll also bake some treats. —I Hit It With My Axe

I miss our bitter rage filled chats about nothing. I miss hiding away from the world with you. I miss the way you touch me. It was for the best, us not speaking out of respect for our new others- but those others should have never been there, good people or not. I'm sorry for not telling you how I feel out of fear of ruining everything, because we really have nothing now. Our on and off (bestfriendorlover) act lasted 4 years and nothing can compare to the good feelings we had. You inspired me to be who I am today. It's almost 7 years since we first met, and I still think about you almost every day. I know I will love you until I die. —Almost Human

Dear person(s) who practice Falun Dafa on Gottingen St at the basketball courts around 10:30am every weekday. THANK YOU! You make me smile and you remind me every day on my way to work to take time out to be thankful and relax my soul before heading into my day. You weren't there this morning, for the first time since September. I hope that you'll be back next week! You really inspire me considering that you (the guy) are there every morning rain or shine, cold or hot! —Smiles From a New Brunswick Girl
