I've had it with all the shitty graff artists threatening our cities peaceful yuppie scum with death threats and all that. That is the shitty part of this.
In response, I have sent out 19 of my paintings to the city, to make it look nicer, give it some colour, distract people from "BURN CONDOS" and let them know my generation isn't completely fucked. There is gonna be more too... Because painting is what I do.
Art is for making people feel good, for seeing that which they normally cannot, do not sully our craft with violence and bullshit! —Reflection Frequency

Thank you to my friends in Halifax for distracting me last weekend from the bad day I was going to have on Monday. You guys went far beyond the requirements of friends, and I appreciate it dearly. —Silly Girl

Props to the staff at a certain north end pool! They are friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxed. They play a variety of music for the swimmers like Radiohead to Tupac. Its got a good down to earth vibe. Thumbs up. —Lane Swimmer

Hey, guy who appeared out of a coffee shop on Barrington yesterday and helped me fix my derailer on the sidewalk: thanks! I was having a shitty day. Next time I see you downtown, I got your beer. —Brother Been Helped Out

I love it here. I've come back from an extended west coast adventure and though it was beautiful, it just doesn't have the heart. So, Halifax, I love you and I think we are close enough that I can say, as a friend, don't get vain or greedy, and sober up a little maybe. I love you lots, but I think maybe you are feeling down, maybe not so confident. So, give yourself a hug, but remember to stay humble. —Zuke

Today I made a huge embarrassing goof, trying to grab the #9 on Barrington and I tripped and scuffed myself good. The f'n bus stopped and rolled away NOT seeing if I was okay. But a patron or worker from the diner across from the scene (I'm sorry I was/am still in shock) came over and helped me out and so did the great folks at the eatery. I want to say a big thank you for helping this clumsy goof. Thank you for caring. —Scraped Doofus

I am so sorry to the person who I unintentionally cut off on when I was merging onto Barrington St on Saturday around 1:15pm. I have no excuse whatsoever; I just wasn't paying enough attention and you were so polite. You slowed right down for me to get in your lane, didn't honk your horn or speed up. I felt bad about this all weekend and I hope you read this. I am so happy that it was a great defensive driver that I cut off and not someone else neglecting to pay attention. Sorry again! —Careless Driver
