To the residents by my house who posted the "Be Grateful" sign on their garage, Thank You! I am grateful, grateful for all of the wonderful things I have in my life and grateful to you for reminding me of them everyday!—Grateful Haligonian
Thank you to all of the courteous drivers out there that stop and allow me to cross the street at an unmarked intersection.
In this kind of rain, it's nice when you recognize that the longer I stand there and wait, the more soaked I get. Thanks for helping me get home a little less drenched! —Pleased Pedestrian
To the #18 bus driver on tuesday around 6:30:
You are awesome hot and I would give up bipedal locomotion for public transport if all drivers looked like you! Thanks for the wave when I got of the bus.—Tired from work

We met, a year and a half-ish ago at the Alehouse. You were have a Chinese symbol tattooed on your neck. You were there with a bunch of other navy guys, including my friend's boyfriend...
We hit it off right away chatted, danced and kissed the night away. Later, you came back to Dartmouth with my friend and her bf and I, the 4 of us ordered late night pizza and you and I made out and slept on my friends couch.
In the morning, we all had omelets and coffee for breakfast and then we all headed to our separate ways. I never bothered to learn anything else about you because I thought you were friends with my friends bf. I didn't find out until the next day that you guys didn't really know each other just the same people.
I look for you everywhere I go, hoping we may cross paths again. That was a fantastic evening, and I would love to see you again.. and again. —Last winter alehouse girl

To the guy with his guitar and long-board who I see every so often in the superstore on Quinpool. Just wanted to say you rock and I think you're pretty cool. If I could long-board I'd bring my guitar with me too.
Thanks for being you. —My Hairs Bigger Than Yours

To the lady at the Bayers Road bus terminal who gave my son a special treat. Thank you. You helped me to show him that good people do exist outside of books.
I hope you get grandchildren of your own one day. —Refreshed and re-energized mama
I'm loving Halifax in the summer. Last weekend was a great example. It's humid out but I'm still able to find great ways to cool off and tons of great things to do. Wine tasting, harbour cruise, patio life, swimming nearby, kayaking and so much more... it's a lovely time to be near the ocean and appreciate the cool breezes.
And watching the the sweltering citizens of all ages playing in the fountain at Bishops Landing was great. So cute. So fun. Just made me feel like a kid watching the little ones squeal in the cold water. Next time I'll jump in too - even in my dress clothes.
Thanks Halifax for the adventures and the smiles. Looking forward to many more to come! —A newbie in Hali - ralmn

I had fun with you Sunday night, its too bad your brother cock blocked you.
Maybe sometime we will get to cross paths again and we can run away from your cock blocking brother and spend some time alone... —Confident cheers chick

It has been six months that I’ve been working in this mall, I did my last day Friday and I have to say goodbye.
To you dear customers that I’m going to miss: your smiles and compassion for the language barrier filled me with happiness.
To you dear coworkers/friends, with your jokes and our friendly teasing, picnic in the commons, party… For those who will wonder what I will do now, I'm looking for other work (thank you again to those who gave me their contacts), and maybe I will see you again at Scotia Square. Hope to see you soon. Goodbye. —The French Boy
