It was your birthday. I saw you step up to sing at an open mic on Argyle Street on Tuesday. When you started singing, you silenced the room full of rowdies and drunk musicians. Your soft voice and presence floored me and everyone else in the room.
I don't know if you sing professionally, but you made a room full of fans that night and kicked off at least one crush.

I think you are great. I sometimes make excuses to come talk to you since we have silly amounts of chemistry. I think you are a perfect mix of gorgeous, adorable and unique. Circumstances won't allow anything more than friendship, but maybe someday that could change, for now I am content with our little work 'thing'.

The other day one of those people who walk around handing out pamphlets about God came into my church and handed me one of his conversion cards. Naturally, I was incredibly insulted and angry that someone would come into my place of worship and try to actively convert me, and I gave him a piece of my mind. I figured that was the end of it, but then the next day he came in again and apologized and explained himself and said that I was right to feel disrespected for it. I appreciated that apology so much. Religion is supposed to be about universal tolerance, not active evangelizing, and I'm very happy that he came through and understood that. Thank you for taking the time to come in and apologize and thank you for understanding what the point of religion really is.

Its great to see the city planting interesting trees around the city instead of the usual elms which are susceptible to disease and are not all that great looking. Recently I have seen Ginkgo Biboas, paperbark maples, black robe locusts(stunning tree I had never seen before)birches and several other unique varieties. I hope the city continues to beautify the streetscape by planting these kinds of ornamental trees as it makes for a more interesting landscape.

Thanks for making humour out of the "confusion" at the cash. Also, thanks for the compliment. You made my day!!

No matter how far I go, no matter how long I'm gone, this city never fails to welcome me with open arms and an abundance of love. This past week has been too short! Thank you for the breakfast dates, the red wine at midnight, the Jazz Festival dance parties, the walks along the waterfront, the hugs and the feeling of acceptance and joy this place lends to me. I love you, my friends. Until next time <3 —Mason Jars

Is it just me, or were you giving off vibes? I know being unprofessional in any way would jeopardize your career. I'm dying to run into you. I told you what park I like to run in. You should meet me there sometime. I like first thing in the morning. I'll be there Saturday. Looking for you. And that gorgeous smile of yours... —Goodbye G, Hello You

Hey, ice cream sandwiches. I love ya. I think you're delicious. You're better than a bowl of ice cream, a sandwich, marbles and the flute. I hope somewhere out there, an ice cream sandwich is reading this.... Yes, I know that's impossible. Ice cream sandwiches don't read, unless it's something important. —human #79,553,753,126*

Sitting on our Dartmouth waterfront deck on Canada Day, we noticed three deer swimming with determination for Halifax. Feeling sad, thinking for certain they wouldn't make it with nowhere to haul out on the other side, I felt a glimmer of hope when I saw your boat approaching them. (I was also hoping you weren't yahoos and were going to jump on one of their backs given the recent viral "riding a swimming moose video.") You headed them off, turned them around and sent them swimming back to the Dartmouth train tracks where there's lots of green space. For certain you saved their lives. THANK YOU for caring.
