Female sailors and wanna-be sailors welcome! For the first time in the Nova Scotia Schooner Association's 65 year history of running Schooner Race Week, we're holding a fun social event from 7-10 pm after the "Female Skipper Race" on Thursday, August 6. Female sailors and non-sailors alike are welcome to join in the fun. Schooner sailors and sailors of all classes of sailboats will rub shoulders with newcomers as we celebrate women skippering boats and joining boat crews for adventure, confidence building and fun.
